Founder & Principal Geoscientist
After 28 years of technical geoscience experience with major and large independent E&P companies, I founded Signal Geoscience Group to give clients direct access to senior technical judgment — without adding permanent headcount.
The focus is geophysics-led: using seismic and other geoscience data to characterize reservoirs, reduce uncertainty, identify data limitations, and sharpen technical decisions.
We serve E&P operators, PE/A&D teams needing independent diligence, and companies needing senior geoscience bench strength for a defined project or decision.
Experience
Tammy Campbell is the Founder and Principal Geoscientist of Signal Geoscience Group, with 28 years of experience in geoscience, reservoir characterization, development, and subsurface leadership. She has worked across exploration, appraisal, and development for major and large independent E&P companies, applying geoscience workflows to reduce uncertainty and support better technical decisions.
Her expertise includes seismic interpretation, attributes, inversion, AVO, depth conversion, microseismic, and design/QC of seismic acquisition, processing, imaging, and interpretation workflows. She also brings significant development geoscience experience, including well targeting, spacing, lookbacks, and working across disciplines to optimize well performance and improve capital efficiency. She has led independent geoscience evaluations and acquisition due diligence, supporting decisions on acreage, subsurface risk, development potential, and value across conventional and unconventional reservoirs in multiple basins.
Tammy holds a B.S. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an M.S. in Energy Business from the University of Tulsa.
